Coach Evan Johnson has been coaching with Summit Basketball Academy since the summer of 2024. A former college assistant coach, he now serves as the Small Groups Coordinator at Faith Church in OKC.

During the 2024-25 season, Coach Evan was an assistant coach for the Southern Nazarene University women’s basketball team. With Coach Evan on the bench, the Crimson Storm went 23-8 during the 2024-25 season, winning the Great American Conference Regular Season Championship and earning a spot in the NCAA DII National Tournament.

Prior to joining the staff at SNU, Coach Evan spent two seasons as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Olivet Nazarene University. There he helped coach and develop three All-Freshman players and six All-Conference players. 

Coach Evan earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2022, where he worked with the women’s basketball team. During that time, Indiana Wesleyan made three NAIA National Tournament appearances, including one Final Four during the 2020-2021 season.
