Season Length
There are two different options for season length that a player/family can opt into. Please see details on each option below.
Full Fall Season (Sept. 15th - Dec. 14th)
13-week season with two hours of practice per week.
This option is best for players who are not playing another fall or winter sport for their school, YMCA, etc.
Late Fall Season (Nov. 3rd - Dec. 14th)
6-week season with two hours of practice per week.
This option is best for players who are playing a fall sport at their school, YMCA, etc.
Note on transition from fall to winter seasons:
Summit teams will take off from practices/games from December 15th, 2025 through January 5th, 2026. When we pick back up in January, that will mark the beginning of the Summit winter season that will run through March 15th, 2026. All Summit players who play in the fall are guaranteed a roster spot for the winter season.
Practices
Teams will practice once per week for a total of two hours. Practices will be on Tuesdays from 5:00-7:00pm and will take place at The McLeod Barn (7824 E. Memorial Rd. Edmond, OK 73025).
Tournaments/League Play
Every Summit player will be placed on either a "Competitive Team” or a “Developmental Team” based upon their playing experience, skill/ability level, etc.
Competitive teams will play in 1-2 tournaments per month.
Developmental teams will play in a local league that typically has one game per Saturday.
Team Size
In order to maximize reps in practice and opportunities to compete in games, Summit teams typically have no more than 8 players per roster during the fall and winter seasons.

Summit’s team fees includes every cost parents will pay during a season (gym rental fees, league/tournament fees, coaching fees, administrative fees, etc.), except for uniforms. Uniform details are below.
