General Information

Official practices for all spring/summer teams will start the week of March 23rd. For all 8th/9th grade teams, the spring/summer season will run through the middle of August.

Practices

All 8th, 9th, & 10th grade teams will practice for a total of 5 hours per week. Schedule below:

8th Grade Teams

• Mondays from 6:00-7:00pm at The McLeod Barn (7824 E. Memorial Road, Edmond, OK 73013).

• Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30pm at The Academy (1120 E Hefner Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73131).

• Thursdays from 6:35-7:35pm at The McLeod Barn (7824 E. Memorial Road, Edmond, OK 73013).

9th Grade Teams

• Mondays from 7:10-8:10pm at The McLeod Barn (7824 E. Memorial Road, Edmond, OK 73013).

• Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30pm at The Academy (1120 E Hefner Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73131).

• Thursdays from 7:40-8:40pm at The McLeod Barn (7824 E. Memorial Road, Edmond, OK 73013).

10th Grade Teams

• Practice schedule TBD. Will be finalized prior to March 1st.

Team Size

In order to maximize reps in practice and opportunities to compete in games, Summit teams max out at 10 players per team for the spring & summer seasons. If there is more than one team at a specific grade level, we will have a Select team, along with an Orange and/or White team.

Leagues & Tournaments

For the spring, all 8th, 9th & 10th grade teams will play in a local spring league. Teams will typically play one game per weekend. 

For the summer, all 8th, 9th & 10th grade teams will play in 1-2 tournaments per month. 

• Select teams will play will travel for 1-2 of those tournaments. Travel tournaments will be within a 4-5 hour drive of OKC. 

• Orange and White teams will play all their tournaments in the OKC metro 

• All summer tournament schedules will be finalized by March 8th and be made available to all players/parents.

Team Cost/Fees

Summit’s team fees includes every cost parents will pay during a season (gym rental fees, league/tournament fees, coaching fees, administrative fees, etc.), except for uniforms. Uniform details are below.

8th, 9th & 10th Grade Team Cost:

• $175 monthly fee for March.

• $275 monthly fee for each month March through August.

• The Summit monthly fee averages out to less than $11/hour of basketball instruction for players.

• We offer flexible payment options—monthly or in full—processed securely through our Wave online invoicing system.

Notes:

• A family’s monthly fee includes all costs that they will need to pay besides the Summit uniform. That includes gym rentals, coaches stipends, administrative fees, tournament/league fees, etc.

• Some financial assistance is available. Please reach out to Coach McLeod directly if you want more information on this.

Uniforms:
For any player who does not have a Summit uniform, there is a one-time cost of $150.  There are a limited number of jerseys that can be rented for $75 per season. Sizes vary.
