General Information

The 2025 fall/winter season starts September 15th and runs through the end of February. If a player is only available for either the fall or winter (but not both), arrangements can be made to accomodate that player’s availability. Contact Coach McLeod for more information on that.

Starting the week of September 22nd and running through the end of October, Summit Academy teams will practice once a week for 60 minutes. Starting in November, the practices for Academy teams will extend to 90 minutes per week.

In October and November, Academy teams will play in one local Saturday tournament per month. In December, they will begin playing in a local winter league at either Destiny Christian School or Solid Rock.

Note: There will be the option for additional group training times throughout the fall/winter for any Summit Academy players wanting to spend more time working on their game.

Practices

The Summit Academy teams’ practice schedules for September and October will be as follows:

U10 - U12 Academy Players

• Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30pm at The McLeod Barn (7824 E. Memorial Road, Edmond, OK 73013).

U12 - U14 Academy Players

• Tuesdays from 6:45-7:45pm at The McLeod Barn (7824 E. Memorial Road, Edmond, OK 73013).

Note: U12 Academy players can choose to come to either the 5:30-6:30pm training or the 6:45-7:45pm practice time.

Team Size

In order to maximize reps in practice and opportunities to compete in games, Summit teams typically have no more than 8 players per roster during the fall and winter seasons.

Academy Team Cost/Fees

Summit’s team fees includes every cost parents will pay during a season (gym rental fees, league/tournament fees, coaching fees, administrative fees, etc.), except for uniforms. Uniform details are below.

Academy Team Cost:

• $250 total for September 15th through the end of October.

• $200 per month starting in November.

• Accounts for additional practice time, tournament fees, league fee, etc.

• If winter league runs through early March, there will be no additional cost.

Fees can be paid in full or by monthly installments via cash, CashApp ($CoachMattMcLeod) or Venmo (@SummitOKC).

Notes:

• A family’s monthly fee includes all costs that they will need to pay besides the Summit uniform. That includes gym rentals, coaches stipends, administrative fees, tournament/league fees, etc.

• Some financial assistance is available. Please reach out to Coach McLeod directly if you want more information on this.

Uniforms:
For any player who does not have a Summit uniform, there is a one-time cost of $150.  There are a limited number of jerseys that can be rented for $75 per season. Sizes vary.
